Good afternoon families. We will be combining routes this Thursday and Friday due to a bus driver shortage. All students who ride the buses may experience a longer wait at the bus stop in the morning and a later drop off in the afternoon. We apologize for the change in routine.

Good afternoon. Starting Thursday, August 10th, our walkers will start to be dismissed out the south doors, facing Gauley Field. They are to use the sidewalks to exit from the buildings, not walk on the straw/grass area. Thanks George O. Barr families!

Day 2 was another busy day. We started at the White House and World War 1 Memorial. From there we went to the Holocaust Museum, Museum of Natural History, and Museum of American History. Our last museum was the Art Museum. We ended the night with some dancing on the Spirit dinner cruise!

We had an amazing but exhausting first day in Washington DC with our outgoing 8th grade students. We started at the Army Museum, followed by lunch, the 911 Pentagon Memorial, and the Air Force Memorial. From there, we went to the World War 2 Memorial and the Washington Monument followed by a stop at Fords Theater, Peterson House and some souvenir shopping. After dinner, we finished up with the Vietnam, Lincoln, and Korean Memorials.
